(GDPR) is the result of many years of work by the European Union to unify and strengthen data protection for all EU citizens. Because taking care of the privacy of you and your customers is our number one priority, we gladly report that Burbox is GDPR compliant!
What does it mean that Burbox is GDPR compliant?
GDPR regulates the processing of personal data in the European Union
(its collection, storage, transfer, or use). Under the GDPR, the concept of “personal data” is broad and covers any person-related information that someone could use to identify them.
The important thing is that GDPR applies to every organization that processes personal data of the EU citizens
even if the organization is located outside of the EU. What it means is that GDPR gives you
more control over how organizations use your data.
We have introduced a new
Cookie Policy and updated our
Privacy Policy documents. We’ve made the documents more customer friendly, and they address the data regulations introduced by the GDPR. Don’t hesitate to check them all out!
Signing a DPA
We want to help our customers become GDPR compliant as well. When signing up for a subscription with Burbox, our Privacy Policy document regulates the processing of your personal data. Our Privacy Policy provides you with all the necessary information on how we process your personal data and what information we process at Burbox.
However, if you live in the EU or your country’s law requires it from you, you can sign a
Data Processing Agreement with us. To do that,
contact us, and we will provide you with a DPA for you to both review and sign.
